Theresa is a Spanish and bilingual education teacher with 18 years of classroom teaching experience. She currently teaches K-5 Spanish in an international baccalaureate elementary school. She has lead and taught in EEA's Spanish immersion summer camps for three years. She has helped teachers who have joined the Español Explorers Academy team grow in their profession. She is passionate about teaching and making a positive impact on the lives of students and their families. Using the Spanish language and having an appreciation of various cultures has been very valuable in her life and in the lives of many people locally and around the world.

LATEST NEWS
** Our first 2026 summer camp starts on June 1 in Round Rock. We really want more campers to join us! Please help spread the word. We will be at Herrington Elementary for a fun active Spanish immersion summer camp. Please register on Round Rock ISD's enrichment camps website linked on our Register tab.
** We have spaces available for half day and full day options for the week of June 8-12 and July 13-20 at Elsa England Elementary. If you know any parents of elementary aged children looking for summer camps and would appreciate their child learning Spanish through active activities such as dance, Zumba, soccer, and yoga and truly speaking Spanish during fun interactive hands on learning, role plays and conversations in the classroom setting, please encourage them to sign up their child. Our campers learned a lot at Elsa England Elementary last year and this year we are bringing additional fun activities for our campers.

UPCOMING EVENTS
We are returning to Lake Travis ISD for two weeks in June for the fourth year in a row. We will be at Serene Hills Elementary this year. We have expanded our program to include preschool aged children in LTISD.
JOIN OUR TEAM
We are in need of a children's soccer coach who speaks Spanish and can teach and coach soccer fundamentals in Spanish.
We are also looking for an additional children's Latin dance teacher who can teach the basics of any combination of Latin dances to mixed age groups of elementary students. Being able to teach your content in Spanish and converse with children in Spanish at a basic level is a must.
