Theresa Osborn is an educational leader, principal-certified educator, and language acquisition specialist with 19 years of experience in Spanish, bilingual, dual language, and multilingual education.
As Founder and Director of Español Explorers Academy, Theresa has spent the past four years designing and leading engaging Spanish immersion programs that help children develop language skills through meaningful communication, cultural exploration, creativity, movement, and play. She oversees curriculum development, instructor training, program quality, and student learning experiences across all academy offerings.
Throughout her career, Theresa has served as a teacher leader, curriculum designer, instructional coach, and mentor, supporting both students and educators in achieving high levels of success. Her experience spans elementary through high school settings, including advanced language programs, bilingual education, multilingual learner support, and educational leadership initiatives.
Theresa believes children learn languages best when they feel engaged, confident, and connected. Her passion for language acquisition, cultural competence, and educational excellence is reflected in every Español Explorers Academy program, where students are encouraged to explore, communicate, and grow in a supportive and joyful learning environment.

LATEST NEWS

** Our first 2026 summer camp started on June 1 in Round Rock. We really want more campers to join us! Please help spread the word. We will be at Elsa England and Herrington Elementary in July for fun active Spanish immersion summer camps. Please register on Round Rock ISD's enrichment camps website linked on our Register tab. ​

** We have spaces available for the week of July 13-20 at Elsa England Elementary. and July 20-24 at Herrington Elementary. If you know any parents of elementary aged children looking for summer camps and would appreciate their child learning Spanish through active activities such as dance, Zumba, soccer, and yoga and truly speaking Spanish during fun interactive hands on learning, role plays and conversations in the classroom setting, please encourage them to sign up their child. Our campers learned a lot in the first two weeks of June this year and in last year's camps.

UPCOMING EVENTS
We are returning to Lake Travis ISD for two weeks in June for the fourth year in a row. We will be at Serene Hills Elementary this year. We have expanded our program to include preschool aged children in LTISD.

​We are in need of one more children's summer camp teacher right now! Please email enrichment.programs@espanolexplorersacademy.com if interested.
We are also looking for an additional children's Latin dance teacher who can teach the basics of any combination of Latin dances to mixed age groups of elementary students. Being able to teach your content in Spanish and converse with children in Spanish at a basic level is a must.
